What is PPNV?

Professional Photographers of the North Valley is a non profit educational organization that was founded in 1984. Based in Redding, California, PPNV is dedicated to helping north state professional photographers further their educations and feed their inspiration through hands on workshops, educational speaker presentations, print competitions, and social activities.

Which professional organizations is PPNV affiliated with?

PPNV is a local affiliate of Professional Photographers of America and  Professional Photographers of California.

What type of activities does PPNV participate in?

PPNV meets monthly to host to guest speakers and print competitions.  PPNV also hosts hands on workshops about a wide range of subjects from photographic techniques to business and marketing.  PPNV members participate in organizing events to benefit local charities.

Social events are also an important part of PPNV.  Members are able to network and build friendships through photography outings and visits to other affiliates of Professional Photographers of California.
