Well, the months
are moving along quickly. I would like to thank Paul Speaker for
coming to speak to our organization in February and holding the
PhotoShop workshop. We had a great turn out and learned how to
utilize some of the tools to our advantage. It's amazing when you
know how to use the tools effectively, how much time you will save.
Please join us for the PhotoShop group, see the website for details.
Are you
prepared if your computer happens to quit working for you? Do you
have your documents and photos backed up onto discs including all
edited work? If you're not sure NOW IS THE TIME to go through all
of your important documents, files, etc. and get them onto another
source other than the hard drive on your computer. As
photographers, downloading photos takes up quite a bit of space. I
would suggest keeping your photos to a minimum on your hard drive,
this to will allow your computer to run more efficiently. DON'T BE
A HARD DRIVE VICTIM!
As I mentioned
last month, we need a few volunteers for some up coming events and
to help with the 50/50 and raffle drawings. It's one way to get
more involved and to get to know other members. If you have any
ideas or suggestions as to what you would like to see take place at
our general meetings, please let our board of directors know. We
want to keep your interest and have you look forward to coming to
the meetings. We will do our best to accommodate your requests.
STOP!
Remember...why are you are photographer? Take time to keep fueling
your passion and photograph nature, people or what ever you desire
for Yourself. Once as a child, I was told...STOP, LOOK & LISTEN!
I would thank
the board members for all of your efforts and appreciate all that
you do for PPNV. We, the board appreciate those of you who have
made positive comments regarding our accomplishments as a PPNV Board
Member.
