Hi, my name is Kristin Visconti and I am The Shutterbug. I started Shutterbug’s Mobile Photography in 2002 as a unique idea allowing me to stay at home with my children while doing what I love; capturing weddings and perfecting my family portraiture. I find that staying at home with my children is the most rewarding experience ever. I thoroughly enjoy the flexibility of being a stay-at-home mom AND a professional business woman.

I specialize in weddings. From the intimate to the grand, I can capture your wedding day like no one else. I have 14 years of wedding coordination experience, and a true love for the energy of weddings. And the emotion doesn't stop at Weddings, I also capture children, families, pregnancy, graduates, sports (and more) with a fun and unique style, while always respecting your comfort. I believe in a relaxed portrait environment, which is why I am strictly a ‘mobile’ studio. Simply put: I come to you. Whether we use the familiarity of your own home, or the natural beauty of the outdoors, your comfort is my utmost concern. Plus, all portrait sessions are at least one hour long, affording for patience, and attention to every detail.

I credentialed by The Professional Career Development Institute, and licensed by the State of California, the Cities of Chico and Redding, and Shasta County. I currently hold a board position on the Redding Business Associates Board of Directors, and am an active member to the Professional Photographers of The North Valley and  Risen King Community Church.
